Mommy was a champ through a very tough delivery. After some surgery, she's been resting a lot.
While Mommy rests, Trey and Daddy pass the time making faces at each other:
Trey was born on Wednesday April 13th, 2011 at 12:43pm East Asia Time. We got to the hospital at 3:30am. By most accounts here, he is the second largest baby to be born in this hospital (a respectable 9lb 6oz, 21 inches) and seems to be in perfect health. Please pray for April to recover quickly- she's not yet able to sit up or hold the baby, which isn't surprising after pushing out that big boy! More pictures, videos, and stories to come, but probably not for a few days. Cosi, by the way, is happily spending time at home with a generously available friend (thank you Mary Ann!) and will probably meet her brother today. We were kind of hoping Trey wouldn't have so much hair, lest Cosi be overwhelmed by temptation...

ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible baby, what an incredible mom and that means there is an incredible dad too. Did Rob stick with you through it all?? What a special family. WE want to see pics when Cosi is introduced to her brother. What a moment.
Praying for quick healing for mom... she certainly needs it. may the Lord do His wonders.
